We got Maggie's cooling bandana in the mail today! I received it super quickly... which is awesome because we are going on a camping/Jeep off road trip this weekend. You soak the bandana in cold water then drain excess water and your dog will experience a cooling relief up to 20 degrees cooler than the outside air temperature is! In the South it gets pretty hot and humid outside.
How to use:
I will follow up with the results after the trip. I partnered with this company because I can share a discount for my followers and 10% of every sale goes towards animal rescue & adoption groups across the globe! WIN WIN! Just visit www.geopetric.com and use promo code "AMY"

I have been in the market for some new tennis shoes for a while now..... I don't wear tennis shoes on a regular basis but I do on our Jeep/Camping trips unless it is muddy and then I wear my rain boots. I have been in search for shoes that have quite a bit of cushion due to back problems. I was in a terrible car accident a few years ago so my back hurts when I am on my feet for a long period of time. I read a lot of reviews and I thought for the price I would check out a pair of Skechers. I didn't have high expectations --- actually none! And after my first camping trip.... I came back with NO pain!!! I have always been a Nike girl --- but not anymore!!! I highly suggest the Skechers GOtrail Ultra 4! These have been a game changer!! PS. These come in different colors but my size was limited in choices so I got the pair below. See the link below ..... I found a place that are on sale PLUS free shipping!! We made some tiny baby steps today! It's not the Class A or even a Class C that we eventually want to get...but this will be a nice step up from tent camping!
I plan on taking lots of pictures and doing some renovation so there will be before and after pictures coming soon! :) I am so excited that I have already started a new Pinterest board of tons of tips, hacks, and remodeling ideas on this little girl. Side note to myself: I feel like the camper needs a name. I guess that is next on my list after doing a deep clean! There are so many things to consider before taking this huge leap in life.
1. How are we going to receive income? 2. Choosing an RV - Class A or Class C? Used or New? Which brands? 3. How much money should we have saved prior to this new lifestyle? 4. Finding sponsors. These are just a few .... as we get older we are just nervous about how we are going to receive income. The husband has a background in web development. I have a background in Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design, and Digital Media. We would love to be able to work in these fields remotely. The difficult part is trying to find options where we can utilize these skills. |
